Join our baroque dance group !
AF member and acclaimed baroque dance instructor, Belinda Norton, is forming a group to practice and perform baroque dance in traditional costumes around the valley. Baroque dance originated as a theatrical and social dancing style of the French upper classes from around 1650-1760. Baroque dance of Louis 14 was the basis for ballet, many country dances, and American Square Dance.
Come enjoy French culture, history and dance! Practices will take place at the clubhouse of the Casa Granada at 70th Street and Osborn in Scottsdale.
