Activités avec l’AF
On a monthly basis, the Alliance Française is pleased to provide these activities for its members:
- Alliance Française French conversation group: Join our weekly conversation group, held in a central Valley location.
- Monthly lunches: Dine with friendly francophiles each month at different French eateries in greater Phoenix.
- Ciné-Club: Share a French movie and a light snack each month, on a Friday evening (except in July and August).
- Fall and spring picnics: Gather with our francophile and francophone members for a lively potluck picnic. Petanque included!
- Reservations for most activities are recommended.
Juste pour les Enfants
Children’s Playgroup: Les Gavroches d’Arizona
• A playgroup with a French twist. Les Gavroches d’Arizona caters to the infant-to-preschool crowd.
• Parents and children get together to play, have fun, and chat it up in French. The group – moms and children – meets weekly at the residence of one of the moms, or at a park, puppet theater, or play area. Moms also meet monthly for dinner, bowling, or some other social activity.
• Les Gavroches’ annual meeting/pique-nique is in May. This group is not affiliated with the AF.
