APPRENDRE LE FRANÇAIS: The Alliance Française of Greater Phoenix provides French language instruction at a highly professional level. We offer group classes for adults, high school students, middle schoolers, and children. Semi-private and private instruction are also available.

Method: We focus on developing communication skills through total immersion in French. We utilize the best printed materials and audio- visual aids in our classes, all of which have been carefully selected to fit the students’ needs. These are noncredit classes and no grades are given. They are small and very lively!
Instructors: Our teachers are French speakers, fully qualified to teach French.
Courses: We offer a beginning, intermediate, and advanced level classes. We also have classes for high school students, middle school students, and children. Each class meets once a week at a regularly scheduled time.
Location: Unless otherwise noted, classes are held at the Alliance Française offices, 14415 N. 73rd Street, Suite 102, Scottsdale, AZ 85260. These offices are in the Scottsdale Airpark, just east of Scottsdale Road.
Cost: The cost for adult classes is $270 per 12-week session , and the cost for high school students, middle school students, and children is $220 per 8-week session. Additionally, there is a textbook fee for most classes, to be paid at the first class of the session.
Open Enrollment: You can begin taking classes at any time during a multi-week session. Your fee will be prorated. However, once enrolled, no refunds are given for missed classes.
Which Course is Best? If you already speak or have already studied some French, we ask that you print out and complete our AF Placement Test as part of the class enrollment process. Your responses enable the school director to determine your proficiency level. Once you take the test, mail it along with your completed AF Class Registration Form to our offices at the address shown below.
